YOUR RADIO ADD RECAP

The Add Action at Top 40, Rhythm and Alternative

Buddy! Let’s have a belt and then review what's new at three key radio formats.

TOP 40

Four labels place two songs each on the Most Added list this week, and to absolutely no one’s surprise, Republic grabs #1 Most Added honors for the second week in a row with Jessie J. Ariana Grande + Nicki Minaj’s “Bang Bang” and grabs a second slot with Enrique Iglesias f/Descemer Bueno, Sean Paul & Gente De Zona’s “Bailando.” Also placing two on the list: Epic with Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” and Lil Jon f/Tyga’s “Bend Ova,” Def Jam with Iggy Azalea f/Rita Ora’s “Black Widow” and Jeremih f/YG’s “Don’t Tell ‘Em” and Capitol with 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Amnesia” and Katy Perry’s “This Is How We Do.” RCA closes out the action with a return appearance for Pitbull f/John Ryan’s “Fireball.”

RHYTHM

Republic's Drake laps the competition and grabs 25 commitments for "0-100" this week, followed by "Fireball" from RCA's Pitbull f/John Ryan and "Bend Ova" from Epic's Lil Jon f/Tyga. Chris Brown f/Usher & Rick Ross’ "New Flame" (RCA) and Jessie J + Ariana Grande + Nicki Minaj "Bang Bang" (Lava/Republic) also have solid weeks.

ALTERNATIVE

It’s been a summer to remember for Warner Bros. This week, Death From Above 1979's "Trainwreck 1979" is Most Added. Hozier's hot track "Take Me to Church" (Columbia) has another huge week. Epic's KONGOS continues to roll with their latest single "I'm Only Joking." Other winners include Wind-up’s Griswolds with "Beware the Dog" and Cantora's Bear Hands with their newest single, "Agora."  Virgin also has a nice week with Bastille's "Flaws."
