New iTunes Session, Great Gatsby, Trance Soundtracks, Multiple TV Performances on Tap
Emeli Sandé is one busy performer.

The red-hot British diva and Brit Award winner releases her first-ever iTunes Session today, recorded at the historic Capitol Studios in Hollywood.

Sandé, who just completed a sold-out U.K./European tour, is slated to perform on a series of U.S. TV shows in the coming weeks, including Kelly & Michael (4/26), Dancing with the Stars (5/7), The Tonight Show (5/8), Access Hollywood Live (5/13) and Tavis Smiley (air date TBA).

Her current single, "Next To Me," has sold over 500k copies, with more than 250 stations across all formats now spinning the track. It was heard in last week's episode of Glee and will be included on Now 46, scheduled for release on May 7. The video has nearly 30 million views and is in the Top 5 at VH1. The new lyric video, featuring a Kendrick Lamar remix, is now airing on Vevo.

Sandé's debut album, Our Version of Events, is now in its 62nd straight week in the Top 10 of the U.K. album chart, which ties it with the Beatles' Please Please Me for the debut album with the most consecutive weeks in the Top 10. It was the best-selling album of 2012 in the U.K., where it is also the top-seller of 2013 to date.

Her U.S. headline tour gets underway July 2 at the House of Blues in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Sandé has also been confirmed for the Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Essence and Made in America festivals and for such high-profile radio events as San Diego station Channel 933's 2013 Summer Kick Off Concert and L.A. station KIIS FM's 15th annual Wango Tango.

Sandé and the Bryan Ferry Orchestra contribute a big band arrangement of Beyoncé's "Crazy In Love" to the soundtrack of Baz Luhrmann's upcoming film, The Great Gatsby. The album, which was produced by Luhrmann and executive produced by Jay Z, is out May 7 and the film opens May 10. She also recently collaborated with Underworld's Rick Smith on a song for director Danny Boyle's latest film, Trance.

Finally, NARM will present Sandé with the Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award at Music Biz 2013's Awards Dinner Party, which will be take place in L.A. May 9. The Scottish singer received the Critics' Choice award at the 2012 Brits and two awards at the 2013 Brits, including British Album of the Year and British Female Solo Artist.
