TAG, THEY'RE IT
Interscope's Fergie is the biggest jumper on the Shazam USA Top 100 tags chart this week, along with such familiar stars as SYCO/Columbia's One Direction, 19/Arista Nashville's Carrie Underwood, Lava/Republic's Lorde and independent Detroit rapper Dej Loaf.
Wait, what?
Yeah, Dej has blown up of late, with hip-hop luminaries like Drake singing her praises and rumors about label heads madly courting her swirling about the interwebs. "Try Me" confirms she's not one to trifle with.
Sitting just below the Top 5 greatest gainers is "Love Me Harder," by Republic's Ariana Grande f/The Weeknd, up 91 spots; also making moves are new (or new-ish) tracks by RCA's Usher, Warner Bros.' Nico & Vinz and Capitol's Sam Smith.
While the Top 5 rankings reshuffle only slightly, we do see WB's scrappy new-wave sibs Echosmith enter the Top 10 with "Cool Kids."

On the U.K. side, Epic's Meghan Trainor extends her dominion at #1 (she recently jumped to the top of the overall U.K. singles chart). Atlantic's Clean Bandit ascends 176 spots to #25 with "Real Love," Aussie pop sisters (and new Sony signing) The Veronicas fly #197-43, 1D's "Steal My Girl" zooms 129 places to #72 and X Factor contestant/house diva Karen Harding jumps 116 spots with "Say Something" (not the AGBW hit).
