The Recording Academy rolled out its Grammy nominees by tweet, video, TV, press conference and probably carrier pigeon this morning, but here's our rundown. For an even more exhaustive list, go here. Album of the Year is significant by its absence; it'll be announced with suitable fanfare on tonight's Grammy Christmas special on CBS. As you may have noticed, Sam Smith is on having an MVP rookie year, leading the field with six noms, matching superstars Beyoncé and Pharrell. Smoke it, dude.
