Country music icon Clint Black was recently honored with 60 Million-Air awards by BMI in recognition for 60m broadcast performances of his songs, or the equivalent of 340 years of continuous airplay.

In commemoration, a reception was hosted at BMI’s Nashville office for the UTA-repped Black, bringing out various team members and music biz professionals including BMI Nashville Director David Preston, Collective Artist Management’s Brinson Strickland, 615 Leverage + Strategy’s John Zarling, Black’s wife and actor/singer Lisa Hartman and his daughter Lily Pearl Black, among others.

During the shindig—presided by BMI Nashville VP of Creative Clay Bradley—Black was presented with a plaque by Country Radio Seminar’s Executive Director RJ Curtis. RIAA SVP of Artist and Industry Relations Jackie Jones also presented Black with three new Gold record certifications and one new Platinum album certification.

Pictured just before seeking a warehouse big enough to hold all this hardware are (l-r) UTA Music agents Emily LaRose and Elisa Vazzana, UTA Nashville Partner and Co-Head Matthew Morgan, UTA Music Agent Greg Janese, Black, UTA Music Agent Cass Scripps, and UTA Music’s Sydney Bryant and Caroline Surrett.
