Rising country star Ashley Cooke (Big Loud/Back Blocks Music) made her Grand Old Opry debut on 10/26, stepping into the historic circle to perform "getting into" and "Never Til Now" f/ Brett Young, which recently charted in the Top 50 on Country radio. She was later invited on stage by Rascal Flatts’ lead singer Gary LeVox for a duet of “What Hurts The Most.”
Speaking on the moment, Cooke said, "Making my Opry debut was one of the most surreal moments I’ve ever experienced. I got into Country music because I fell in love with and found comfort in the storytelling of Rascal Flatts.
"Having Gary LeVox invite me into the circle and ask me to sing one of the songs that got me into music in the first place was completely full circle. I’m so thankful to have stood where every Country great has before me and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the tradition.”
Seen in the photo below hoping to avoid anyone from HITS who might be lurking backstage are (l-r) Rakiyah Marshall (Back Blocks Music), Carrie Murphy (WME), Cooke, Drew Magid (Big Loud) and Seth England (Big Loud).
