DARIUS RUCKER SEES DIAMONDS
10/27/22

Darius Rucker’s “Wagon Wheel” (Capitol Nashville) has been certified Diamond by the RIAA, becoming the fourth country song to achieve the feat.

The three-time Grammy winner commemorated the achievement and multiple career milestones at Nashville’s The Electric Jane on 10/26, where NBC's TODAY anchor Craig Melvin presented him with the RIAA trophy.

In addition to the 11x Platinum “Wagon Wheel”—which surpassed the 10x Platinum threshold for Diamond certification before the festivities took place—Rucker also celebrated earning 10 #1 singles, including his latest “Beers and Sunshine” written with Ross Copperman, J.T. Harding and Josh Osborne.

"Thank you guys so much for the life you’ve given me," said Rucker. "My life is so much better because I came to Nashville."
