WALKER HAYES HITS NEW CAREER HIGHS
8/12/22

Monument’s Walker Hayes has reached new career highs. His smash hit “Fancy Like” is now RIAA 4X platinum certified, while “AA” is now platinum and Country Stuff the Album has reached gold status. In the process of snapping the trade photo above, Hayes’ single “U Gurl” was also certified Gold.

As of July, Hayes LP is one of only three albums in any genre released in 2022 to have gained an RIAA certification, and the only country album to do so.

“To watch these songs grow and impact more and more people is everything you can ask for as an artist," said Hayes. "My fans are the most incredible fans out there, and this is all due to them."

To commemorate the milestones, SMACKSongs SVP of Development Robert Carlton and Monument GM Katie McCartney surprised Hayes with a new plaque during his sold-out set in Long Island over the weekend ahead his performance on the Citi Summer Concert Series on the TODAY Show.

Currently, Hayes is gearing up for his headlining arena Glad You’re Here Tour, which kicks off this fall with three newly announced dates. Pre-sale for the tour begins 8/16 while tickets will be available to the general public on 8/19. For a full list of shows, click here.

Seen just before placing an order for new plaques are (l-r) Carlton, Hayes and McCartney.
