Miranda Lambert, Morgan Wallen and Chris Stapleton are among the artists who will receive Special Awards at the 15th annual Academy of Country Music Honors.
Lambert will receive the ACM Triple Crown Award; Wallen gets the ACM Milestone Award and the ACM Spirit Award goes to Stapleton.
Also being honored are former ASCAP exec Connie Bradley, who has been chosen to receive the ACM Icon Award; business manager Paul Barnabee and CPA Dwight Wiles will receive the Lifting Lives Award; business manager and adviser Duane Clark is the recipient of the ACM Service Award; and Sonny Throckmorton and Shania Twain have each been chosen as recipients of the ACM Poet’s Award.
Yellowstone will be honored with the ACM Film Award. HARDY was previously announced as the Songwriter of the Year winner.
“ACM Honors is truly a special and unique night as the entire Country Music community comes together to celebrate the achievements of artists, musicians, and industry executives that have made a positive impact on the industry during the prior year or over their careers,” said Academy of Country Music CEO Damon Whiteside. “Being the 15th anniversary of this event also makes it a night to remember some of the Academy’s pioneers who originally inspired these honors.”
The event will take place 8/24 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
