JIMMIE ALLEN ANNOUNCES TULIP DRIVE
4/4/22

On the heels of Music’s Biggest Night, BBR/Stoney Creek’s Jimmie Allen has revealed his third album, Tulip Drive, will arrive on 6/24.

During the Grammy Premiere ceremony, the BNA nominee performed the album’s lead single, “Down Home,” which impacted Country radio on 3/14 as the Most Added track, and he’ll also be performing it on The Late Late Show with James Corden tonight (4/4).

Much like his 2018 debut Mercury Lane, 2020's Bettie James and 2021's Bettie James Gold Edition, Tulip Drive also pays homage to his family roots and is named after the street where his late grandmother spent her childhood.

“A lot of these songs are based off things I went through when I was in later in high school and college, at a place where I was just learning a lot of life lessons from my grandmother,” said Allen.

Allen will also appear on CBS Mornings on 4/11 for an interview with co-host Nate Burleson. He’s currently on his first solo headlining trek, the Down Home Tour and recently earned his third career #1 with “Freedom Was a Highway.”
