Sony Music Publishing Nashville has inked Trey Lewis to a global pub deal. Since his 2020 TikTok-assisted hit “D**cked Down in Dallas” went platinum, Lewis has been building a name for himself in the country scene.
The Alabama native dropped his five-track EP Shut the Door in 2021, while his latest track “Single Again” arrived on 1/14 and peaked at #1 on the U.S. iTunes Song Sales charts. Lewis is currently on the road with his band and will join Kid Rock’s U.S. tour in April.
“Trey Lewis is cut from the same cloth as the legends who have paved the way before him. His songs are real, genuine, and full of country swagger,” said Rusty Gaston, CEO, SMP Nashville.
“This is just the beginning for Trey, and I couldn’t be happier to be on this rocket ship ride with him,” added Tom Luteran, VP, Creative, SMP Nashville.
Seen before heading to the nearest Hattie B’s to celebrate are Gaston, Mya Hansen, Anna Weisband, Lewis, Josh Van Valkenburg, Luteran, Dale Bobo and Dane Schmidt.
