MONARCH RELEASES FIRST SINGLE
12/10/21

Arista Records/Monument Records has released the first song from the upcoming Fox series Monarch: “A Country Boy Can Survive” by Trace Adkins.

Adkins has sung the Hank Williams Jr. song, released nearly 40 years ago, throughout his career.

“I’ve lost count how many times I’ve listened to Hank Jr.’s ‘A Country Boy Can Survive,’” says Adkins. “Having the opportunity to record such an iconic song has been both exhilarating and daunting. I wanted to honor the original version while putting my own spin on it.”

Monarch premieres 1/30 after the NFC Championship on Fox. The series continues with its time period premiere on 2/1.
