“THE BONES” KEEPS BREAKING
9/14/21

“The Bones” by Columbia Nashville’s Maren Morris is now certified 4x platinum. The song from her 2019 album, GIRL, was a Country radio #1 for 19 consecutive weeks in 2020, making the Grammy winner the first solo female to rule the format for multiple weeks since 2012.

Morris also earned three new noms for The 55th Annual CMA Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year, which she won last year. “Chasing After You,” (a collab with husband Ryan Hurd) is up for Musical Event and Music Video of the Year. The gold single is currently Top 10 at Country radio.

Pictured above looking better with their faces concealed than we do on our best days are (l-r) Columbia Nashville’s SVP of Promotion Shane Allen, House of 42/Red Light Management’s Janet Weir, Morris, SMN Chairman/CEORandy Goodman and VP of Marketing Liz Cost.
