TIGIRLILY'S FEELING MONUMENTAL
3/15/21

Country music duo Tigirlily has inked with Monument Records. Comprised of sisters Krista and KendraSlaubaugh, the duo announced the news on Ty Bentli’s Apple Radio show last week following the release of their latest single,” Somebody Does.”

Written by Tigirlily and Zarni DeVette, the track, which is produced by Grammy-winner and Monument Co-Pres Shane McAnally as well as Louis Newman, recently rocketed to the top of iTunes’ Country Songs chart and All Genres Songs chart following a viral TikTok moment.

“We’ve been following what Tigirlily has been doing for a while now, and with this new song, it feels like the perfect time to make it official,” shared Monument’s Co-President, Jason Owen. “At Monument, we have always prided ourselves on finding artists who bring something new and different into the world, and Tigirlily is no exception,” added McAnally.

“After years of being independent artists, we are so excited to be part of a label that brings out the best in their unique artists, and to work with a team that takes artists to the next level,” said Krista. Kendra added, “The opportunity to collaborate with Jason, Shane, and Katie, along with our manager Louis, is truly a dream come true.”

Having previously toured with the likes of LeAnn Rimes, Big and Rich, Justin Moore and Chris Janson, the pair began touring in 2013 at the ages of 14 and 16. Expect more new music from Tigirlily in the coming months.

Seen hoping we wouldn’t tarnish this monumental moment are (l-r) Tigirlily Manager Newman, McAnally, Kendra, Krista, Monument GM Katie McCartney and Owen.
