On the heels of earning 6 ACM Award nominations, Columbia Nashville’s Maren Morris recently appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Morris discusses her “Better Than We Found It” music video, which is up for Video of the Year at the ACMs, becoming a parent during the pandemic, performing with John Mayer at the upcoming Grammys—her hit single “The Bones” is nominated for Best Country Song—and more.
In addition to Video of the Year, Morris is also nominated for Single of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Group of the Year (as a member of The Highwomen) and Music Event of the Year at the 56th ACM Awards.
The event will broadcast from three Nashville venues—the Grand Ole Opry House, Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Café—on 4/18 on CBS.
