RIP, TOM STARR
1/13/21

We are saddened to hear that Warner Music Group Nashville’s Tom Starr died Monday following a battle with cancer.

Starr, who joined Warner Nashville in 2014, was most recently Regional Manager of Radio & Streaming. He worked singles for Dan + Shay, Chris Janson, Ashley McBryde, Zac Brown Band and others.

Previously, Starr worked pop promo for Interscope, EMI, Jive, MCA and Elektra and ran his own entertainment consulting, promotion and marketing company from 2009 to 2014.

Warner Music Nashville said in a statement, "Today we mourn the loss of our beloved friend and teammate Tom Starr. We are devastated by this news, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. … Warner Music Nashville and the country music community grieve together.”
