CHRIS YOUNG HITS CAREER MILESTONES
9/15/20

RCA Nashville’s Chris Young is celebrating hitting a slew of milestones this month. The multi-platinum entertainer recently notched eight certifications from the RIAA, accumulating 7m+ consumption units across several of his projects.

His single “Tomorrow” was certified 2x platinum, while his album I’m Comin’ Over and his singes “Lonely Eyes” and “Voices” achieved platinum status. His other singles “Drowning,” “Raised on Country,” “Hangin’ On” and “I Can Take it From There” also received gold status.

In commemoration of his recent achievements, Young was surprised by his touring members, management, business management and label team as they also recognized his 3.5b+ career streams. The Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter has now earned 21 RIAA gold/platinum/multi-platinum certifications throughout his career.

“Today was absolutely a surprise with all of the plaques,” shared Young. “Recording stuff for charity, celebrating the past, and talking about the future... I couldn’t ask for a better day.”

Additionally, the country star is gearing up to release an upcoming up-tempo collaboration to Country radio and streaming services soon. Check out his reaction video below.
