Capitol Nashville’s Mickey Guyton is set to appear in a special moment during the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards to help raise awareness around the hunger crisis during the pandemic.

Airing on Wednesday (9/16), her appearance is in partnership with ACM, dick clark productions, Feeding America and Wells Fargo, which is pledging to help provide 50m meals through the Wells Fargo Drive-Up Food Bank program.

In addition, Wells Fargo is donating $100k to the ACM Lifting Lives COVID-19 Response Fund and has donated over $175m to help address community needs like food assistance, financial health, small businesses and more since the beginning of the pandemic.

“We are delighted to work with Wells Fargo for the 55th ACM Awards show this year and honored to have Mickey Guyton spotlight and raise awareness on the continued efforts of improving communities across the country. Wells Fargo has provided countless resources for people to turn to during these challenging times,” said Lyndsay Cruz, Executive Director of ACM Lifting Lives.

Hosted by reigning AMC Entertainer of the Year Keith Urban, the 55th ACM Awards will air on CBS on 9/16 at 8pm ET and features performances by Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Comb, Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett and more. It will also be available to stream on demand on CBS All Access.
