’s Goldmine: We have been in an album-launch mode with this debut album, so it’s been in heavy rotation in the house, in the office, in my sleep! American Aquarium’s LAMENTATIONS: I have been a big fan of this band, and they released this album while we’ve been in quarantine. It may be my favorite of theirs to date. An album about struggle and redemption, it has a lot to say. My conscience: We’ve seen a lot of unrest globally and locally. In Nashville, we’ve had tornadoes, quarantine, riots, work challenges, so I’ve had to dig inside myself a bit more and really think about stuff. Also, I’ve wanted to have real conversations with my kids.
