WALKER HAYES GOES DOUBLE-PLATINUM
4/29/20

Monument
’s Walker Hayes has multiple reasons to celebrate as his hit single, “You Broke Up With Me,” has achieved multi-platinum status. Written by Hayes, Kyle Sackley and Thomas Archer, and produced by Grammy-winner Shane McAnally, the single becomes one of only 25 country songs released in the last three years to reach double-platinum standing. The milestone also makes Hayes one of only five country artists to reach that level of success with their debut single in that amount of time.

With the help of Bobby Bones and RIAA’s Jackie Jones, Hayes was surprised with the news after being eliminated off Bones’ Super Easy Trivia show here. Seen above celebrating in quarantine style are (l-r clockwise) Jones, Monument’s Casey Thomas, SMACK’S Robert Carlton, Hayes, Monument’s Katie McCartney and Bones (top right).
