ANDRESS MAKES HISTORY AGAIN
3/17/20

Warner Music Nashville’s Ingrid Andress is celebrating a few career milestones this week. Her gold-certified debut single “More Hearts Than Mine” has been a multi-week Country Airplay Top 10 and made history at the only solo female debut to crack the Top 20 in 2019.

Additionally, this week marks the first time in Country Airplay chart history that debut singles by two women land inside the Top 10, as label mate Gabby Barrett joins her with “I Hope.”

Nominated for CMA's New Female Artist of the Year, Andress is also the first female country artist to join Apple Music’s Up Next program. The monthly initiative identifies rising talent and has previously included artists like Billie Eilish, H.E.R., Khalid, Bad Bunny, Bazzi and more.

“It means so much to me to have the Apple Up Next platform to share more of my genre. I believe country music is global, because the stories and the emotions are real and universally felt. Stories that connect all of us transcend any genre, definition, or stereotype,” says Andress.

The singer/songwriter is also gearing up to join Thomas Rhett in May for the opening nights of his Center Point Road Tour before heading out on Tim McGraw’s stadium tour Here on Earth this summer.

Andress’ debut album Lady Like is set for release on 3/27 and features her as a co-writer and co-producer on every song. You can pre-save the album here and check out the Apple Music Up Next playlist here.
