DIERKS BENTLEY VOWS TO DONATE 90K
3/16/20

Capitol Nashville’s Dierks Bentley has announced that he will be shutting down his Downtown Nashville Bar, Whiskey Row, amid the current pandemic. While his employees will temporarily be out of work, the 3-time CMA nominee and Grand Ole Opry member has vowed to donate 90k to his staff.

On his Instagram post, seen below, Bentley writes, “I am going to immediately give each of our 90 hourly employees $1,000 to help in the short run as our community and country try to get a handle on the situation.” He also encourages other bar owners on Lower Broadway to follow.

Dierks joins several other country singers who own bars in Nashville that are temporarily closing, including Jason Aldean’s bar and Florida Georgia Line’s FGL House.
