TAYLOR AND MORE DONATE TO TENN. TORNADO RELIEF
3/5/20

Nashville resident Taylor Swift has made a $1m contribution to Tennessee tornado relief. Swift wrote on 3/5 on her Instagram story: "Nashville is my home, and the fact that so many people have lost their homes and so much more in Middle Tennessee is devastating to me. I've made a donation to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund, if you'd like to do the same, swipe up."

Dan + Shay, who also call Nashville home, announced on 3/5 a donation of $100k to relief efforts: "We are heartbroken by the devastation the tornadoes left upon Tennessee earlier this week. Our love goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. We will be making a $100,000 donation to The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee."

Dan + Shay tour promoters AEG Presents, Sandbox Entertainment, CAA and Bridgestone Arena are each also donating a monetary amount per ticket sold for both of the duo's Nashville shows this week, to The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

The tornadoes that hit Tennessee on Tuesday killed more than two dozen people, and sent at least 150 to hospitals in five counties. To donate to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund, part of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, go here.
