Just before Christmas, Warner Nashville's Blake Shelton notched his seventh #1 country album with Fully Loaded: God's Country. Plus, the set—mostly a Greatest Hits album, but with five new songs—turned out to be the third best-selling country album of 2019.
To date, it's already reached 350k in total activity. And lead single "God's Country" is sitting pretty with a Grammy nomination. "Nobody But You," a duet with Gwen Stefani, went #1 at iTunes upon release.
The Friends and Heroes 2020 Tour, which kicks off on 2/13 in Portland, brings Lauren Alaina out on all 16 dates, as well as The Bellamy Brothers, John Anderson and Trace Adkins for special appearances. Shelton will hit L.A.'s Forum on 2/21. As of now, the stretch is set to wrap at Detroit's Little Caesars Arena on 3/21. On a related note, we wonder if we can get free Hot Pockets for life if we change the name of HITS offices to the Hot Pockets Arena. Mmmm, cheese...
