NOW WHAT?
We have no fucking idea.
COUNTRY'S NEWEST DISRUPTOR
Three chords and some truth you may not be ready for.
AI IS ALREADY EATING YOUR LUNCH
The kids can tell the difference... for now.
WHO'S BUYING THE DRINKS?

Hickman Holler/RCA’s Tyler Childers has dropped a new EP, Tyler Childers: Reimagined, exclusively on Apple Music. Recorded in the same Nashville studio where he recorded his first two albums, the collection of reworked and acoustic renditions includes “Lady May,” “Creeker,” and “Help Me Make it Through.”
In conjunction with the EP, Apple Music has released a special short film that takes fans into the studio with Childers, who’s being tipped for top-tier Grammy nominations, through his recording process. Childers says, “I sat around a lot with my dad—around hunting clubs, and outside of church and barbershops—listening to fellas older than me tell tall tales and flat-out lies. I guess some of that rubbed off on me.” (Our own Samantha Hissong recently asked him a handful of questions; see that exchange here.)
He adds, “First and foremost, I write for myself and my own sanity, and from there I write a lot of love songs for Senora.” Songwriter Senora May, Childers’ wife, is the subject of “Lady May." You can listen to the Tyler Childers: Reimagined EP on Apple Music here and watch the companion short here.
