Warner Music Nashville is making some expansions in the roles of two VPs. Victoria “Torie” Nugent, VP of Strategic Marketing, returns to Nashville from Seattle and adds overseeing the day-to-day functions of the digital and strategic partnerships teams to her artist development role.
VP Creative Director Mike Dupree’s role is also expanded to include all visual creative initiatives for the label, including video production and graphic design. Both Nugent and Dupree will continue reporting to SVP Artist Development Shane Tarleton.
Prior to joining WMN in 2011, Nugent spent three years at Nielsen. Dupree, whose career began at Word Entertainment, started working with WMN’s country roster in 2010, and after a brief stint in the healthcare industry, returned to WMN in 2016.
“I'm so very grateful for our amazing team and roster of insanely talented artists, and I look forward to building on the incredible foundation of success that [John Esposito] has created,” says Dupree. Nugent adds, “I am incredibly grateful to Espo, Ben [Kline] and Shane for the opportunity. Brooke Hardesty has built a bold and passionate digital team, and it is exciting to be joining forces with both her and our partnerships team to drive strategic decision-making for our artists and label.”
Tarleton states, “I’m incredibly proud to have Torie and Mike among those leading the WMN Artist Development team. They consistently bring innovation to their jobs and to the artists we serve. It’s an honor to work alongside these two luminaries as we continue to challenge norms and elevate our artists’ brands.”
