Flannel-loving song-slinger Luke Combs’ highly anticipated new album What You See Is What You Get will be out 11/8 via River House Artists/Columbia Nashville. Each pre-order includes a download of the new track, “1, 2 Many ” featuring Brooks & Dunn.
The new album adds to a monumental year for Combs, who is nominated for three 2019 CMA Awards: Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year (“Beautiful Crazy”) and Musical Event of the Year (“Brand New Man” with Brooks & Dunn). The awards will be broadcast live on ABC from Nashville on 11/13.
Produced by Scott Moffatt, What You See Is What You Get features 17 songs, including the five tracks previously released via Combs’ The Prequel EP. The EP debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with all five tracks charting, a feat not accomplished by any artist in 60 years since Johnny Cash in 1959. The release also propelled Combs to the largest streaming week ever for a country artist, with 73 million on-demand streams.
The Prequel’s hit single, “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” is Combs’ sixth consecutive #1, and his fastest-rising single to date. Combs' sold out "Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour" continues 9/17 - 12/13.
Beer never broke our heart either, except for that one time back in college when we woke up naked in a bathtub full of Meister Brau, our clothes in a wet ball on the floor, with a lumberjack standing over us...we'll never do THAT again!
