NIKO LASSOS THE MOON
8/27/19

RCA Nashville artist Niko Moon is kicking up some major dust, according to his publisher Ben Vaughn at Warner Chappell Music in Nashville.

Managed by Chris Kappy and Lynn Oliver-Cline at River House (who also handle Luke Combs), Moon is presently in the Top 20 of Spotify's US Viral 50 chart with current single "Good Time," an impressive feat for a country artist.

The genre-defying singer/songwriter is a longtime collaborator of fellow Georgian Zac Brown, with Moon co-penning five #1 Zac Brown Band hits: “Loving You Easy,” “Homegrown,” “Beautiful Drug” and “Keep Me In Mind” – plus “Heavy Is The Head,” which topped the rock charts with Chris Cornell.

Moon is a Texas native who relocated at age 10 to Douglasville, GA, equidistant from hip-hop hub Atlanta and country breeding ground Newnan, GA. The locale inspired Moon’s artful persona: a mix of hooky melodies, shrewd wordplay and edgy, electronic beats.

His upcoming debut EP embodies the judiciously layered synthesis of his Georgia roots, pairing Atlanta-bred hip-hop and rural-fed traditional country.
