MCDONALD LOOKS GREAT IN YELLOW
3/7/19

The Nashville-based Big Yellow Dog Music just signed Christy McDonald—one of the writers and the featured vocalist behind Grammy winner Robin Schulz’s “Ha Leh Lou Ya." Following the announcement of her publishing deal, McDonald—an active participant in the Country Music Hall Of Fame’s “Words & Music” program, working with children to help develop songwriting skills—heads out on a two-week writing trip in Amsterdam and Stockholm to collaborate with European EDM/dance DJs, producers, and artists.

“I was blown away when Christy showed me what she had been working on,” said Big Yellow Dog Music co-owner and CEO Carla Wallace. “She has an incredible voice!”

Seen wondering where to find the best hot chicken in The Netherlands are Dickinson Wright's Austen Adams, SESAC's Shannan Hatch, Wallace, McDonald and BYD's Lauren Funk, Alex Stefano and Jacee Badeaux.
