A WRIGHT MOVE FOR UMPG NASHVILLE
3/4/19

UMPG
Nashville has inked singer/songwriter Claire Wright to an exclusive global pub deal today (3/4). The Red Light-managed and CAA-repped artist, who hails from Northern California and counts Sugar Ray and Creedence Clearwater Revival as influences, churns out feel-good sounds inspired by rural roots and a philosophy that life should be enjoyed. At HITS, our philosophies tell us not to eat cheese puffs while wearing white or cook bacon in the nude, but our songs about such aren't nearly as catchy.

“Claire is full of positive light and shares that glow through her songs," says UMPG Nashville EVP/GM Kent Earls. "It’s very rare to meet someone with such an identity and vision for not only her music but herself. We’re excited to help bring her songs to the world.”

“[The UMPG Nashville team] understood my songs and my vision in a really refreshing way," adds Wright. "They are a massive powerhouse in the publishing world yet when you walk into the office, it’s like coming home. I look forward to making history with these amazing folks!"
