Sony Nashville has announced the inking of California-bred and Nashville-based trio Fairground Saints, whose newly minted global development deal through distro and label services arm The Orchard will be christened by the release of new song "Somewhere Down the Line" next Friday (10/26). Click here to see a just-released trailer that gives listeners a quick taste of the group's impressive harmonies and appreciation for toe-tapping hooks.

"Fairground Saints have created something unique in country music, a sound that reflects their west coast leanings that is harmony-driven, adventurous, and carefree with intricate vocals, thoughtful songwriting, and solid musicianship," said Sony Nashville Chairman & CEO Randy Goodman. "With The Orchard partnership, we are in a great position to focus our individual resources on identifying and cultivating opportunities to advance the band and their growing fan base on a bigger scale. And with 'Somewhere Down The Line,' we are off to a very good start."

Pictured in the front row from left to right are The Orchard GM Jessica Phelps-Colvin, FS' Elijah Edwards, Mason Van Valin and Meg McAllister, and Goodman. In the back row, you'll spot SMN's Angie Magill, The Ochard's Lauren Kasper, SMN's John Zarling, manager Kimberly Knoller, SMN COO/EVP Ken Robold and the company's Taylor Lindsey.

Celebratory martinis were on Zarling, who suddenly ran off to find his briefcase, which was probably somewhere at The Palm.
