SOMETHING TO "CARE" ABOUT
8/3/17

Who woulda thunk it? A Justin Moore-featured sketch is up for an Emmy. The Valory/BMLG artist's performance in a Kimmel skit—written by the host's brother, Jonathan Kimmel and Gary Greenberg—has earned a nomination in the Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics category for “The Ballad of Claus Jorstad (Devil Stool).”

"If you had told me I would be a part of earning an Emmy nod for singing a song about what I did, I would have thought you were crazy. Haha," shares the star, whose fourth studio album, Kinda Don't Care, became his third consecutive #1 last year. "Nonetheless, it's very cool to hear. I'm excited for Jimmy and his crew. Hopefully, we can bring it home. They told me this week that they would share it with me, so it would be pretty cool to add an Emmy to the mantle."

On a related note, Moore, who's now on the road, recently popped by Kimmel to perform "Somebody Else Will" and "Kinda Don't Care."
