THE BUILDERS: JOHN PEETS
7/6/17

Manager, Q Prime

CLIENTS: Eric Church, Brothers Osborne, Rhiannon Giddens, Nickel Creek, Ashley McBryde

HIGHLIGHTS: Signed Ashley McBryde, the future of country music. Broke the Bridgestone Arena attendance record, then broke it again the next day with Eric Church on his Holdin’ My Own Tour. Ended up living longer than I expected—to the 50 mark—and, in a moment of rare introspection, realized that we had put out 50 pretty good records. One record for every year I have been alive. (This didn’t all happen this year, but this is the year it hit me.) Watched Brothers Osborne win both CMA and ACM Vocal Duo of the Year Awards. Giving Eric Church’s Mr. Misunderstood record directly to the fans (so basically everyone we knew would buy it), then having it win CMA Album of the year.

WHAT’S THE BIGGEST ISSUE FACING NASHVILLE, WITH ITS CHANGING LANDSCAPE?
Traffic and autonomous cars. Easy.
