On the verge of issuing his sophomore release, country upstart Chase Rice has signed on BBR Music Group/BMG’s bottom line and will record for their Broken Bow Records imprint, joining a label that also features Jason Aldean and Dustin Lynch.
Rice has been cooking since his Nashville arrival. He co-wrote the Florida Georgia Line smash “Cruise” and scored two top-5 hits of his own with “Ready Set Roll” and “Gonna Wanna Tonight,” from his 2014 major label debut Ignite the Night, which was issued by Columbia Nashville as a one-off.
Rice noted that new music will be dropping within 30 days. “I can’t tell you how excited I am to join the BBR family,” he said. “I knew from the moment we began talking that the people here understand where I’m coming from, and I can’t wait to share all the new songs we’re about to make together.”
BBR is equally stoked about Rice’s arrival. “Chase has a track record of connecting with fans whether it is socials, concert tickets, singles, or album sales,” said Jon Loba, EVP BBR Music Group. “He knows himself and his audience and has formed a rabid following. We are so excited to have him join our family and can’t wait for everyone to hear some incredible new music.”
