Kane Brown's self-titled full-length, which debuted in the HITS Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) Chart Top 10 on Friday, bowed at #1 on the Top Country Albums Chart today. This makes the RCA Nashville/Zone 4 set the best-selling debut country album of the past two years and the largest country debut for a new artist since Sam Hunt’s Montevallo in 2014.

The news also marks Sony Music Nashville's sixth consecutive #1 country album, meaning of all Team Goodman's studio releases debuted at the top of the chart this year.

"I'm so grateful to all the fans, and to Dann Huff, Matt McVaney and the songwriters on the album, who helped me tell my story to the world through this record. A No. 1 Country album is a dream come true, made possible through the hard work of everyone involved," the rising star shared.

Brown, who notably opened for Florida Georgia Line on their 2016 Dig Your Roots Tour, was recently included in Ticketmaster’s inaugural New Music Favorites series, which recognizes up-and-coming stand-out talent, and is now headlining the Kane Brown Monster Energy Outbreak Ain't No Stopping Us Now Tour.
