Immensely popular Country radio jock Bobby Bones and his crew raised more than $1.3 million Thursday morning as part of their St. Jude Radiothon—and donations are still coming in.

The event, spearheaded by Bobby and aired live on iHeartMedia's nationally syndicated Bobby Bones Show, enabled listeners to donate via text for the first time, inspiring them to dig into their pockets and generate an unprecedented amount of money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Highlights included Kelsea Ballerini and Dave Barnes teaming up for a cover of Blake Shelton’s “God Gave Me You” and a powerful rendition of Keith Whitley’s "I'm No Stranger to the Rain” from Chris Janson, as well as a call from Garth Brooks.

“I’m honestly blown away by the generosity of our listeners this morning,” said Bobby after the show. “The amount raised is overwhelming, and donations are still coming in. With the holidays coming up, money can be tight, so it means even more that our fans have chosen to contribute to such an amazing cause. I also have to thank all of our artist friends that took part in such an important broadcast, as well as our awesome group of radio station affiliates, who always go above and beyond to support us in our charitable endeavors.”
