KANE BROWN MAKES HIS TV DEBUT
12/1/16

RCA Nashville/Zone 4 rising star Kane Brown made his television debut on Ellen today, performing "Thunder in the Rain," which marks his fifth song to go #1 on iTunes' country charts prior to any airplay. That said, the song is now #47 at Country radio.

Brown originally made viral waves, posting covers and originals to his YouTube and Facebook pages; the latter currently boasts 2m+ followers. The now 23-year-old soon found himself at the center of a bidding war with his song "Used to Love You Sober"—now gold with 10m+ video views.

In sum, as HITS' resident millennial Samantha Hissong put it: "He's super dreamy."

P.S. His debut full-length drops tomorrow. Brown's self-released EP bowed in March; that went #3 on the country albums chart, #9 on Top 200 all-genre chart and #1 at iTunes.
