We extend our heartiest congratulations to frequent HITS contributor and Nashville treasure Holly Gleason, the winner of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) 2nd Annual Pie in Your Face Challenge. Holly raised more than $8,600 for the organization's fight against leukemia and lymphoma. As the winner, she was honored by having six pies thrown in her face by The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's Jeff Hanna at the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Holly, seen in the group shot with BMLG exec and 2016 Light the Night Walk Chair John Zarling, Hanna and LLS Executive Director Jeff Parsley, is proud to be part of the organization's good work. She also noted that being hit with six pies is still considerably more dignified than being associated with us.
