PARDI AT THE "HEAD" OF THE CHART
8/15/16

Capitol Nashville breakout Jon Pardi has landed his first #1 Country single with "Head Over Boots." The track, co-written by Pardi and the redoubtable Luke Laird, has earned 100m streams and is the most Shazamed country song of the year. It appears, as you undoubtedly know, on the gifted singer/songwriter's #1-bowing California Sunrise. To get a sense of the rowdy, joyous energy at a Pardi show, check the live clip below.

To further garnish Pardi's happy moment, the artist headlined "Buck's Birthday Bash" at the legendary Crystal Palace in Bakersfield on 8/12, and was given the commemorative Buck Owens signature guitar pictured above (yep, it's a red-white-and-blue Telecaster; yum). Said the Crystal Palace's Jerry Hufford, "I wish Buck were here to see this kid. He'd love him."
