What do you consider the greatest opportunities and challenges for songwriters in the streaming era?

Streaming definitely creates opportunities for songwriters and songwriter/artists that we haven’t had in the past, and it’s a great way to directly connect with more fans and see their responses quickly. However, we are in a time when physical album sales are decreasing and streaming revenue isn’t making up the difference. So the challenge is really trying to figure out how songwriters and publishers can continue to run their businesses until we bridge the gap and everyone’s preferred method is steaming and the revenue goes up.

What’s your drink of choice?

Right now, a Blue Moon with an orange slice.
