BALLERINI'S BIG WEEKEND
5/3/16

Black River Entertainment's buzzing Kelsea Ballerini snagged two awards this weekend: the fan-voted Radio Disney Music Award for The Freshest - Best New Artist and the American Country Countdown Award (ACCA) for Breakthrough Female of the Year. And FYI, she's the only artist in history to win at both shows.

She performed her gold-selling "Dibs" at the ACCAs. At the RDMAs, however, she broke into Daya's hit, "Hide Away," with none other than Daya. Watch that here.

Ballerini's third single, "Peter Pan"—currently Top 15 at iTunes—is #33 at Country radio, with some support from Top 40 as well.

Meanwhile, we continue to lack reasons to be awarded anything. We also look terrible in sequins.
