BBR'S PROMO AIM IS TRUE
4/19/16

Clockwise from top left: Leymon, Gaines, Flick, Tobin, Davis and Hoover.

BBR Music Group has added three promo executives and upped three members of its radio team.

Renee Leymon, most recently VP of Promotion for Red Bow Records, has been named VP of Radio Syndication & Group Strategy, and Shelley Hargis Gaines has been promoted at Red Bow to take Leymon’s former job.

Leymon will lead radio promotion syndication efforts under the direction of BBR Music Group EVP Jon Loba and SVP of Promotion Carson James. Gaines was previously National Director of Promotion for Red Bow Records. Chelsey Flick, the former Director of Radio Syndication, has been named Director of Marketing for the BBR Music Group.

“As Chelsey Flick’s marketing role has expanded under the direction of VP of Marketing JoJamie Hahr, we felt the need to make our Radio Syndication and Group Strategy a stand-alone position, focused solely on our incredibly important partners at radio,” Loba says. “Renee’s Leymon’s passion for our entire roster of artists, creativity and promotion background should allow her to step right into this new role and expand it even further. Shelley has been an integral part of starting four different imprints and we are excited about giving her the reins at Red Bow. Her tenacity, experience and energy made her the obvious choice.”

Additionally, Neda Tobin joins Red Bow Records National Director of Promotion and will also handle Southwest/Midwest Promotion; Country radio veteran Jeff Davis is Red Bow’s new Director of Northeast Promotion; and BBR Music Group’s Hilary Hoover has been moved to Director of Northeast Promotion with Stoney Creek Records.
