Country superstar Kenny Chesney just announced that he'll be releasing a brand new single and servicing it to radio this Thursday (3/24).
The creation of the forthcoming song—titled "Noise"—was apparently inspired by the overwhelming anxiety that comes from the inability to escape technology, traffic and all aspects of metropolitan toxicity in America. “It seemed like everywhere I turn, everywhere I go, there is so much stuff coming at you. Your phone, your car, on the streets, on TV. Everywhere it’s just so loud, so much, so many different things—all pushing buttons, being sensational, shouting for attention," explained Chesney. "You can’t escape it, and you can’t turn it down.”
The Blue Chair/Columbia Nashville singer/songwriter is currently preparing to embark on his Spread the Love Tour, which kicks off 4/23. The stadium run will include support from Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion, but fans should expect a few surprises along the way.
He's also been in the studio working on a new album, which is rumored to drop this spring.
Talk about a man who can wear many hats at once. Meanwhile, the chin straps on our dunce caps are starting to chafe.
