Capitol Nashville's buzzing newcomer Mickey Guyton recently sat down with CBS This Morning's Gayle King. The segment, which offers an illuminating spotlight on the artist, airs tomorrow (8/4).

The video for "Better Than You Left Me" (below), the lead single off her recently released self-titled EP, is currently approaching 2m views. Get a taste of the soulful Country ballad below; it's sweeter than pecan pie.

Guyton collaborated with multiple award-winning producers on the EP, including Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift), Dann Huff (Keith Urban) and Luke Laird (Kacey Musgraves), and she's currently finishing her debut album.
