The Place Where Radio and Records come Together Without Talking
DENNIS BLAIR IS #1
1/30/15

It's been a great first year for RCA's SVP Rock Promotion Dennis Blair (pictured at right with Jack Antonoff of Bleachers). Currently RCA holds the #1 spot at Modern Rock with Cage The Elephant's "Cigarette Daydreams" and the #1 record at Active Rock with Three Days Grace's "I Am Machine."

The label currently has four records in the top 10 and three in the Top 5 including the most recent #1, Foo Fighters' "Something From Nothing." There's a good chance that Walk The Moon's "Shut Up And Dance" (currently #3) will reach #1 in the coming weeks. The feat of a label achieving three successive #1's from three different artists is unprecdented.

Next up: Smallpools' "Karaoke," which made it's chart debut this week, and Foo Fighters' "Congregation" on 2/10.
