THE BALL STREET JOURNAL

I wrote about Nino and Interscope’s amazing promo job with Rema & Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down” about a month ago. Well, the record is still growing, and it’s now in the Top 5. It has a shot to reach #1, with a little help from re-currents coming down. Either way, this has to be the promo job of the year so far! Nino also has Ella Mai’s “This Is,” which is #33 and still climbing the chart. He’s also slow rolling Rae Sremmurd’s “Tanisha (Pump That),” which is up 110 spins and lands at #44, as well as Kali Uchis’ “Moonlight” coming in at #50 and with an increase of 115 spins this week.

Davey and Republic continue to dominate the Top 10 as they move Coi Leray’s “Players” back to #1, jumping over label mate Drake & 21 Savage’s “Spin Bout U” (OVO) along the way. Davey also has two Metro Boomin tracks inside the Top 10 with “Creepin’” w/The Weeknd & 21 Savage and “Superhero (Heroes & Villains)” w/Future & Chris Brown. Republic rounds out the Top 10 with Nicki Minaj’s “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” which gains 315 spins and continues to build momentum. Meanwhile, Drake sees a whopping increase of 1,070 spins on “Search & Rescue,” which was this week’s highest debut at #22. Look for this one to be Top 10 in the next three weeks. Big Boss Vette’s “Pretty Girls Walk” enters the Top 25, thanks to an increase of 185 spins. This one also continues to pick up new stations each week.

Strazza and Columbia have The Kid LAROI’s “Love Again” climbing four spots to #26 this week, and it gains another 110 spins along the way. Miley Cyrus’ “River” also enjoys a triple digit gain, putting her at #35 this week. Tyler, The Creator’s “DOGTOOTH” impacted last week, and while it just misses a debut, it will surely land in the Top 30 this coming week.

Dixie Tipton and Capitol have Ice Spice’s “In Ha Mood” (10K Projects) at #12, but with the addition of five new power moves, they’ve got their eyes set to move Top 10 by next week. Toosii’s “Favorite Song” (SCMG) may be the biggest buzz record at the format right now. It was up a massive 685 spins this week and is now also in the Top 10. All signs point to this being a multi-format smash. Doechii x Kodak Black’s “What It Is” (TDE) is also on fire, picking up an increase of 410+ spins as it joins the Top 15.

B Dot Scales and Warner welcome NLE Choppa x Lil Wayne’s “AIN’T GONNA ANSWER” to the Top 20 after scoring 425 spins. They also impacted Kanii’s “I Know” this week. The track had a very impressive showing, pulling in 26 adds with lots of buzz attached to it.

Epic’s Rick and Dontay have a buzzing record with BIA’s “I’M THAT BITCH,” which climbs six spots to #28 this week and is up over 440 spins. Kid Culture’s “KEEP IT” is still climbing and lands at #37 this week.

Over at RCA, Lori G and Inca are officially impacting SZA’s “Snooze” (TDE) this coming week, but enough stations couldn’t wait as the track already debuted at #38 and was up 200 spins. They also impacted Libianca’s “People,” which secured 26 commitments and is off to the races.

Noah Sheer and Def Jam are still building the story on Coco Jones’ “ICU” (High Standardz). She climbs five spots to #34 this week and sees an increase of over 190 spins.

Biggest Increase:
Drake “Search & Rescue” (OVO/Republic)
Toosii “Favorite Song” (SCMG/Capitol)

Doechii x Kodak Black “What It Is” (TDE/Capitol)
