It's going to be a dog fight this coming week for #1 between Megan Thee Stallion's “Hot Girl Summer” and Republic’s Lil Tecca “Ransom”. Gary Spangler and Davey Dee have Tecca up 400 spins, with room to grow. They also have Ariana Grande & Social House's “Boyfriend” at #12, gaining 190 spins. Post Malone's “Enemies” climbs to #14 thanks to an increase of 625 spins. Post’s other single “Circles” is at #21 this week. Emotional Oranges' “Personal” comes in at #34, while Lil Tecca’s new single “Did It Again” just misses a debut, coming in at #41. This was up 220 spins.
Over at Columbia, John Strazza and James White have kicked Lil Nas X's “Panini” into another gear! It is up over 600 spins again this week, and climbs to #6. Y2K's “LaLaLa” moves to #45, gaining 85 spins. They are impacting 24KGoldn's “Valentino” this week. There is a buzz on this one, and the momentum is picking up.
Epic’s Rick Sackheim and Dontay Thompson put the pedal to the medal with DJ Khaled's “Wish Wish.” It was up 520 spins, as the power rotations continue to come in. it is at #9 this week. They are off to a tremendous start with French Montana's “Writing On The Wall”. It debuts at #38, thanks to a 450 spin increase. Camila Cabello's “Liar” is up 75 spins, and moves to #50 on the chart. It is also really growing at top 40. They are also impacting Travis Scott's “Highest In The Room”, which is sure to be a high debut this coming week.
Noah Sheer and Def Jam continue to grow Big Sean's “Bezerk”. It climbs two spots to #22 this week, gaining 180 spins. Danileigh's “Easy” has some impressive research stories, and is up 190 spins. Make sure you are paying attention to this one! They are still developing Teyana Taylor's “How Do You Want It”, which is growing each week. They just dropped a new YK Osiris' “Ride”, which is impacting this week.
Lee L’Heureux and Warner have Wale's “On Chill” entering the top 10 this week, in large part to a 590 spin increase.
Over at RCA, Inca and Lori G have Khalid's “Right Back” at #11, up 170 spins. They also welcome Chris Brown's “Heat” inside the top 15. He is up 330 spins. Doja Cat's “Juicy” jumps six spots on the chart to #28. It is up a very healthy 270 spins, and momentum is building. Right behind is Normani's “Motivation”, which is up 135 spins. It also continues to grow and is top 20 at Top 40. They just recently impacted Gashi's “Safely” f/DJ Snake, and it is a few weeks away from landing on the chart. It was up 115 spins this week as it gathers steam.
Nino Cuccinello and Interscope see DaBaby's “Baby Sitter” collect another 170 spins, and move to #17 this week. Mustard's “Ballin” adds 150 spins, and is at #23. DJ Snake's “Loco Contigo” is now at #30 after an 85 spin increase. He recently impacted Arin Ray's “Change”, which is at #44, and is a week or so away from a debut. Nino also just impacted Summer Walker's “Playing Games,” and this is off to a solid start. It is up 120 spins, and comes in at #57.
Dixie Tipton and Capitol are really driving this Layton Greene “Leave Em Alone” towards the top 10. It slides all the way up to #18, and is up an impressive 350 spins! It is also doing very well at Urban, where it is nearing the top 10. Quality Control/Lil Baby/DaBaby's “Baby” is up 130 spins, and comes in at #32.
