Congratulations to
Franco Iemmello at
Capitol for taking
Katy Perry f/Juicy J’s “Dark Horse” to #1 this week. He also wants you to get ready for
JLo’s brand new track, “I Luh Ya Papi.” There’s a version with
French Montana as well as one with
Big Sean. The video premieres on 3/13 and she’ll perform it live on
American Idol with French Montana on 3/20…
Beyoncé f/Jay Z’s “Drunk in Love” remains at the top of the chart this week, but
Columbia looks to flip-flop this coming week, as labelmate
Pharrell Williams is trying to secure that coveted top spot. “Happy” was once again the biggest increased record, and moves #5-3, up nearly 700 spins.
Ayelet Schiffman and
James White can do no wrong, as they also have
John Legend’s “All of Me” going #13-11 and increasing 350 spins, as well as
DJ Snake & Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What” at #19 and up 236 spins. And be on the lookout for the remix, which will feature
Juicy J,
Ludacris and
2 Chainz! It should get to radio by early next week. The second biggest increase of the week also went to Columbia for Beyoncé’s “Partition,” moving #26-20 and up 635 spins. Finally, they’re impacting
DJ Cassidy f/Robin Thicke & Jessie J’s “Calling All Hearts” this coming week…
Republic is also maintaining their success as
Lorde’s “Team” holds at #8, up 100 spins, while
SoMo’s “Ride” and
Sage the Gemini’s “Red Nose” hold at #13 and #14 respectfully.
Martin Garrix’s “Animals” takes a big leap from #28-24, up 125 spins, but the debut of the week goes to
The Chainsmokers’ “#Selfie.” They come in at #32, up over 300 spins.
Young Money f/Drake’s “Trophies” is sure to chart this coming week, as the record gained 260 spins this week. They also impact
Adrian Marcel “2 AM” this week…
Rick Sackheim,
Noah Sheer and
Scott Maness are doing big things at
IDJ, as Jay Z f/Beyoncé’s “Part II (On the Run)” gathers another 285 spins this week, good enough for #16. They also have
Jhene Aiko’s “The Worst,” which has been a steady gainer each and every week and is now at #21.
Mariah Carey’s “You’re Mine (Eternal)” debuts this week at #38, and they’re impacting
Iggy Azalea f/Charli XCX’s “Fancy.” The video is already approaching 5 million views, and she’ll be on tour starting 4/23. Sitting just outside the chart is
Ludacris f/Wiz Khalifa,
Jeremih & Cashmere Cat’s “Party Girls.” They’re looking to debut this in the next two weeks… Don’t look now, but
Lee L’Heureux at
Warner Bros. is making a push for #1 with
Jason Derulo f/2 Chainz’ “Talk Dirty.” If not for the power of Pharrell, this would be the next #1. As it stands, it will be #2 this coming week…
RCA continues to build
Chris Brown f/Lil Wayne’s “Loyal.” It moves up to #7 this week, gaining over 360 spins.
John Strazza,
Inca and
Lori G also have
Shakira f/Rihanna’s “Can’t Remember to Forget You” at #35. They’re looking to chart
Pitbull f/GRL’s “Wild Wild Love” in the next few weeks, as well as
Justin Timberlake’s “Not a Bad Thing.” This week they impact
Kid Ink f/Chris Brown’s “Main Chick.” These two are coming off “Show Me,” which was a #1 record…
Sujit Kundo at
Epic is powering
Kat Dahlia’s “Crazy” onto the chart. It’s #38 on the building chart as I write this. He’s also impacting
Future f/Pharrell Williams’ “Move That Doh.” This has a nice buzz developing, with the urban leaners leading the way.
