Warner Music Nashville's The Last Bandoleros have dropped a six-song EP on the major streaming services, featuring propulsive single "Where Do You Go?" and an array of other effervescent tracks. The band's upbeat, Beatlesque rock and roll (tinged with Tex-Mex and other cool influences) is the freshest breath of fresh air in recent memory; it's impeccably melodic, gilded with gorgeous vocal harmonies and spiked by rough-and-ready guitars and driving grooves. The swaggering, joyous "Maria," the mysterious "I Don't Want to Know" and the barreling, badass "Take Me to It" are among the other highlights. This'll be on repeat until the band's breathlessly awaited full-length finally arrives.
