Rhino’s excavation of the Led Zeppelin vaults with guidance from Jimmy Page continues with 9/16 release of an expanded version of music they recorded live at the BBC.
The Complete BBC Sessions includes live recordings the band made on BBC radio between 1969 and 1971, adding eight previously unreleased recordings to BBC Sessions, the album Led Zeppelin released nearly 20 years ago. Three of the new recordings were rescued from a "lost" session from 1969.
Previously unreleased versions of “Communication Breakdown,” “Dazed and Confused,” “White Summer,” You Shook Me” and “I Can’t Quit You Baby” will be included in the set that will feature the 24 tracks initially released in 1997.
The Complete BBC Sessions will be available in multiple formats: a deluxe three-CD set, a five LP version, a digital download and a super deluxe box set that incudes the LPs, CDs, download card and a 48-page book of photos and session info.
